CLIL ACTIVITY

Length: 30 minutes

Subject: Biology

Level: 11th grade

Content objective: at the end of the lesson, the students will be able to recall the importance of the water cycle and its processes.

Language objective: by the closure of the lesson, the students will be able to explain orally the process of the water cycle, by using key words to describe them

Material: a video related with the topic, worksheets, and the students’ book.

Pre-task: the teacher, in order to familiarize students with the content and language, he will tell students the importance of water cycle, likewise he will provide students some key concepts and vocabulary related to the topic.

Task: first, the students will be organize in pairs, then they will be receive some pictures about the any processes of the water cycle, after that, they will say to each other which processes of the cycle water the pictures show, and finally, they will explain every picture in front of the teacher.

Assessment: the teacher will assess students through a rubric, whit this instrument the teacher will focus on two things:

1. The domain of the topic.

2. The way students develop the activity.

3. The use of vocabulary on the speech.
